Discharge Day

Today was a great day – we were discharged! After 10 days cooped up for the majority of each day in a hospital room, this mama was happy to just get some fresh air and walk up and down the sidewalks of Chicago. It amazes me the joy that can be found in the littlest things after not having them – even for just a few days. I think it’s called perspective.

So we are out of the hospital, but not out of the woods. The husband and I will be taking up residence in Chicago for the remainder of our pregnancy…whether that ends up being a few days or several weeks. For the girls’ sake, we’re hoping for the latter. Thank you to everyone who has been sending us encouragement and lifting us up in prayer. Those things mean more than you will ever know! We’ll be sharing more about our girls throughout this week…so stay tuned.

With Grace,

Jen

  1. Jen and Kade—all of the Panzers are thinking and praying for you and the girls. Everyday gives them a better chance and we are celebrating each day with you.
